HSERC Meetings
Pursuant to the Hawaiʻi Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (HEPCRA), the Governor has designated the Hawaiʻi State Emergency Response Commission (HSERC) responsible for:
- Establishing procedures for receiving and processing public requests for information collected under HEPCRA
- Reviewing local emergency response plans
- Designating local emergency planning districts
- Appointing Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs) for each district
- Supervising the activities of the LEPCs
NOTE: The #130 Hawaii State Emergency Response Commission meeting scheduled for Friday, June 16, 2023, has been rescheduled to July 14, 2023.
