The Harm Reduction Services Branch is looking to hire a temporary, 89-day hire LIGHT TRUCK DRIVER. This position is responsible for operating a vehicle to transport a variety of cargo for the STI Prevention program; managing inventory of and processing requests for supplies; performing manual work tasks; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment.

The work location is the DIAMOND HEAD HEALTH CENTER in Kaimuki on the island of Oahu. Work hours are 40 hours per week, 7:45-4:30PM, Mon-Fri excluding state holidays. The pay is $22.77 per hour.

This hourly-paid position is excluded from collective bargaining. This appointment is limited to a maximum of 89 calendar days. Extensions of 89-day appointments may be granted with a minimum one workday break in service upon. 89-day appointments are not eligible for more benefits as provided to regular Civil Service employees (vacation & sick leave, paid holidays, retirement, etc. and the employee is not eligible to apply for internal vacancy announcements).
