Genital Warts

Genital warts are a common condition caused by certain types of HPV. Genital warts are spread by having skin-to-skin contact with someone who is infected, often during sexual intercourse. They appear on the skin around the genitals and anus. Although annoying, genital warts are not dangerous and may go away on their own. Genital warts can be treated, but they can’t be cured.
