FY 2024-2025 Mental Health Block Grant Application

Overview

Mandated by the U.S. Congress, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) community mental health block grants (MHBG) are noncompetitive grants that provide funding to states for adult and children/youth mental health services.

The Hawaii FY 2024-2025 MHBG application includes a comprehensive report of our state’s mental health system and presents data and fiscal expenditures related to activities that align with MHBG priority funding areas.  A summary of SAMHSA’s MHBG application requirements are available through this link.
