Stroke Awareness Month: I Will Not Have a Stroke
The Hawaii Department of Health (DOH), Developmental Disabilities Division’s Neurotrauma Program recognizes May as National Stroke Awareness Month. Stroke is the #1 cause of disability and the 3rd leading cause of death in Hawaiʻi, which is higher than the national average as the 5th leading cause of death.
