ADA Coordination

On October 3, 2025, Governor Green signed Administrative Directive 25-03 which summarizes and repeals previous Administrative Directives related to the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADAAA) of 2008 was signed into law on September 25, 2008.  It went into effect on January 1, 2009 with final regulations  issued on March 25, 2011. On September 15, 2010, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) issued final regulations on Title II and III of the ADA. The portion relating to access to services of state and county government went into effect on March 15, 2011.
