Lisa Dau

Lisa is a registered nurse with over 33 years of experience at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children. She holds a BS in Nursing from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.

As Injury Prevention Coordinator, Lisa leads Kapi‘olani’s comprehensive Injury Prevention Program, overseeing initiatives such as Child Passenger Safety, Safe Sleep and Crib Distribution, Home Safety, and numerous other child safety efforts. She also serves as facilitator for the Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition (KIPC) and State Leader for Safe Kids Hawaii, collaborating with community partners to expand injury prevention programs statewide.

In recognition of her impactful work, Lisa received the Emma Kauikeolani Wilcox Award in 2023 and the Advocacy Award from the Healthcare Association of Hawaii in 2025.

A lifelong Hawai‘i resident, Lisa was born and raised in the islands, married, and is the proud parent of two children.
