The conference will highlight “plain language” as a part of implementing language access today.  The objectives for this year’s conference are to:

• Emphasize the importance of plain language as the building block of effective communication.

• Facilitate the sharing of ideas, expertise, and experiences from local and national perspectives.

• Identify ways to increase organizational capacity to provide language assistance to persons with limited English proficiency.

You will have the opportunity to engage with subject matter experts from a variety of settings and jurisdictions; language service providers; community practitioners and others who are passionate about ensuring that those with Limited English Proficiency have meaningful access to benefits, programs, and activities.
