CMS-Approved 1915(C) I/Dd Waiver Amendment #02
Posted on Oct 19, 2018 in NewsThe Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved Hawaii’s amendment #02 to the 1915(c) Medicaid I/DD Waiver. The amendment is approved effective June 1, 2018 and replaces the waiver approved amendment #01 that was effective June 1, 2017. The amendment adds Individual Supports Budgets, includes a new service called Private Duty Nursing, revises the rate methodology for behavior analysis, and makes other programmatic changes and clarifications. Prior to submitting the amendment to CMS, public meetings were held throughout the state and comments received from the public were summarized and any changes made based on the public comments is noted.
