Conrad 30 J-1 Visa Waiver

The goal of the Conrad 30 J-1 Visa Waiver program is to improve the accessibility of health care services in rural and underserved areas by providing a J-1 visa waiver recommendation on behalf of foreign medical graduates who have obtained a J-1 visa waiver for graduate medical studies from the United States Department of State. J-1 visa waivers allow foreign physicians to practice in medically-underserved communities without returning to their home country of residence, thus allowing them to receive nonimmigrant, H-1B status (temporary worker in specialty occupation) for three years. Interested applicants are encouraged to work with an immigration attorney for help to establish a case number with the U.S. Department of State and obtain a data sheet. Also a signed employment contract is required to be included with the application package, so applicants need to have a job offer before the immigration attorney sends the application to us.
