DOH TO HOST GROUNDWATER WEBINAR SERIES IN JUNE

What: The Hawai‘i Department of Health (DOH) invites the public to a four-session webinar series on groundwater basics, beginning June 6, 2025.
When: June 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2025, 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. HST
Where: Microsoft Teams
Who: DOH Hazard Evaluation and Emergency Response (HEER) Office
Details: Groundwater is a vital source of drinking water for communities across the islands. The series aims to deepen public understanding of groundwater science and its significance in Hawaiʻi.
Each webinar will include a live Q&A with DOH scientists, covering topics such as aquifer systems, groundwater flow, contaminant transport, and cleanup methods.
