  ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

This two-day workshop provides training in how to recognize, assess, and support a person in crisis. ASIST is designed for caregivers who want to gain additional skills to directly discuss suicide and intervene with a person at risk of suicide.  This is a highly interactive and practice-oriented workshop that will give you the training that you need in
order to be a care-giving resource within your community.

7:45 am – 4:30 pm (inclusive) for BOTH days.

Please be on time.  Late-comers may be turned away.

Attendance for both days of the workshop is required for certification.

 The training and its materials are provided without cost to all participants, so meals or refreshments are not provided.  There will be ample time for lunch to be retrieved off-site, or you may bring lunch with you to the training.

Just as “CPR” skills make physical first aid possible, training in suicide intervention develops the skills used in suicide first aid. This is a highly interactive workshop that will give you the training that you need in order to be a care‐giving resource within your community.
