1395772_98948134DOH began this year’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) phone survey earlier this month. It is the world’s largest ongoing telephone survey of adults and is coordinated by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Hawaii Department of Health.

The survey covers topics ranging from healthcare access and use of preventive health services to emerging health issues. Hawaii has participated in this survey since 1986. DOH uses the data it collects to improve its programs and address the health needs of Hawaii residents. Click here to view the survey results.
