If you are considering travel within the U.S., be aware that COVID-19 is widespread in many communities and beginning March 26, all people entering the state of Hawai‘i (residents and visitors) will be subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine. Use state health department websites to find out more about the current situation for your specific destination and review these questions the CDC recommends all travelers in the U.S. consider before traveling.

Beginning October 15, 2020, travelers who, upon entry into the state, provide written confirmation from a state approved COVID-19 testing facility of a negative test result from a test administered to the traveler within 72 hours from the final leg of departure, will be exempt from the 14-day mandatory quarantine.
