If You Become Sick While Traveling In Hawai‘i
If you are sick, taking these precautions can prevent further spread of COVID-19 and reduce its impact on our communities.

Stay Inside Your Hotel or Rental
- Do not go out in public.
- Do not use public transportation.
- Stay in a separate room or area in your dwelling and away from other people as much as possible.
- Use a separate bathroom, if available.
- Do not use any public areas such as the pool, dining room, or other available facilities.

Call ahead before seeing a doctor
If you are at higher risk of complications from COVID-19 (e.g. elderly, those with underlying medical conditions), call a healthcare provider.
If you are experiencing symptoms and think you may need medical care, call your a provider and tell them that you may have COVID-19. This will help them take steps to keep other people from getting infected or exposed.
