Hawaii Community Genetics

Hawaii Community Genetics (HCG) was created as a collaborative effort of the Department of Health (DOH), Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA), Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children, Queen’s Medical Center, and the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. In the future, more local partners will join the collaborative group.

Clinical support services at HCG are provided by Joshua Webster (Kapiolani Medical Center); and Dana Mulcahy, Michelle Maeda, Liann Jimmons, Sansan Lee, and Michelle Takemoto (DOH).  HCG continues to contract with the Stanford University School of Medicine Genetics Program to provide periodic support for clinical pediatric and adult genetic services and genetics education.
