Congratulations to Dr. Dileep Bal who will be honored by the American Medical Association (AMA) on Feb. 23 in Washington D.C. as the recipient of the 2016 Dr. Nathan Davis Award for Outstanding Government Service in the category of Outstanding Career Public Servant at the Local Level. The awards, presented to local, state and federal career and elected government officials, were established by the AMA in 1989 and are recognized nationally as one of the most prestigious honors extended to elected officials and career government employees for outstanding endeavors that advance public health. Hawaii State Senate President Ronald Kouchi nominated Dileep for his unwavering dedication and diligence in serving the public.
