Disease Investigation
What is the Disease Investigation Program?
The primary role of the program is to monitor, investigate, prevent, and control infectious diseases in Maui County, including the islands of Lanai, Maui and Molokai. To achieve the goals, the program works closely with other DOH programs and partner agencies in the community, including but not limited to medical providers, laboratories, hospitals, schools, and other private/public organizations.
